It’s generally considered a bad thing to be stuck in an elevator. Your schedule can get thrown off, it’s lonesome and stuffy, or you could even start hyperventilating. But as Brian Dickerson of the Detroit Free Press explains, it’s all a matter of perspective. Would it be a stretch to consider such an isolation from the “real world” as a vacation of sorts?
Maybe, but I wouldn’t unless it were a really plush elevator with a minibar.
