I agree. This is truly impressive. That’s how technology works beyond our imagination..
Aircraft carrier elevators can also be raised and lowered manually. This would be quite userful in the event of power failure or battle damage.
Anybody knew who supplied this elevator?
These elevators are designed by Naval Sea Systems Command, the opration is incredibly simple despite all the wire rope you see at the four corners, the elevator is electro hydraulic in it’s operation. Been out of the Navy for awhile, but one elevator was capable of lifting well over 128,000 lbs. No telling what the capabilities are now.
