Wow, I certainly could not do this job. Me and heights just don’t get along. As the highest free-standing structure in the world, the Burj Khalifa is 2,716.5 feet (828 meters) above ground. According to this article, it takes 36 people three months to clean the Burj Khalifa from top to bottom using sophisticated platforms or about two weeks for 100 rope access workers.
If you don’t have butterflies, there’s something wrong… because being nervous causes you to be cautious and thorough. In this job complacency is a killer.
