The Elevator World Library has everything that an elevator enthusiast could possibly ever want. We have all the code books going back to 1921, as well as books on litigation, architecture, fire/earthquake/natural disasters, and ropeways, as well as hundreds of historical books. Some of our hidden treasures include a copy of Skyscraper Garages from 1929, Mechanics’ Pocket Memoranda from 1897, an Illustrated Catalogue of the J.W. Reedy Elevator Manufacturing Company from 1900, a pamphlet from Kimball Elevators from 1921 and a catalogue of Otis parts that is so old that the date can not be determined.
All elevator enthusiasts are always welcome for a visit. So, if you ever find yourself in the Deep South with some time to spare, head on over for a glass of sweet tea while you go through our library. Anyone interested can contact Monica Tapper at firstname.lastname@example.org
