Today is Patriot Day, marking 14 years since the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon and the loss of Flight 93 in Shanksville, Pennsylvania. The 9/11 Memorial, Pentagon Memorial and the Flight 93 National Memorial all serve to help heal our wounds by remembering and honoring the dead. Standing at a symbolic 1,776 ft., One World Trade Center is a testament to the resilience and tenacity of the American people.

Remembering 9/11 – The Elevator Motor

Today is a day of remembrance. A day we shall never forget. One we we will continue to honor the lives of those lost on 9/11/01 and the brave men and women who responded during time of need. A few months ago I came across this video on the History Channel website. It is part of the Emmy-nominated web series, Remembering 9/11. This particular video is about one man who spends his life maintaining the elevator motors from the Towers that helped save many people on 9/11, and another man who was in an elevator when the North Tower was hit.
