Elevator World has now entered the blogosphere…Welcome to Elevator World Unplugged! First of all, for those of you who are not exactly sure what a blog is, here is how Websters defines it:
an online diary; a personal chronological log of thoughts published on a Web page
Elevator World Unplugged is a blog created and maintained by the staff of Elevator World, Inc. The main purpose of this blog is to bring our customers an interesting and different side of EW reporting while forming, maintaining and strengthening our ties to them and this industry.
Through this new channel we hope to enlighten the reader with a slightly unique side of EW coverage — see where we work, meet the staff, enjoy our humor, travel with us, view unique projects and certainly read interesting thoughts and views from our staff on special tips, day-to-day issues and industry chatter. We look forward to bringing you a mixture of information whether it be a funny sign in the Paris airport, our thoughts on the weather, a unique project in New York or simply a behind the scenes tour of how EW operates.
This blog will also provide you with a platform in which to provide feedback regarding topics for future posts, your views on a subject and/or just interaction with fellow industry members. Certainly feel free to let us know what you think.
So sit back, visit often and enjoy!
Happy Reading –
The EW Team
P.S. That’s our new alternate ELEVATOR WORLD logo. What do you think?
